Risograph printing depends on color, overlap, paper, and density. NOT GUTTER lets you print yourself and check results as you go.

Take your prints home the same day

Unlike online print services that require full data submission and shipping, you can take your prints home right after printing. Risograph printing is fast, so it is also useful for urgent flyers.

How it works

1. Decide what to make

Bring the paper you want to print on, or purchase paper in store.
Paper available in store

Paper can be purchased by the sheet.
Sizes range from postcard to A3, with thickness from 46 g/m2～210g/m2and up.
You can use many kinds of paper, including office paper, recycled paper, straw paper, thick paper, and colored paper.
* Some paper types may jam more easily.

2. Prepare your artwork

Once you decide what to make, prepare your artwork.
If you cannot prepare it in advance, you may draw illustrations or lettering on paper on site.
How to prepare artwork data

* Bring monochrome artwork data (100% black or grayscale), hand-drawn illustrations, photos, etc.
* Designs protected by copyright or trademark, such as characters or brand logos, cannot be used unless you have permission from the rights holder.

3. Make a reservation

NOT GUTTER is reservation-only. Once you choose your visit date and time, please book using the form below.
Address: SHIBAURA HOUSE M2F, 3-15-4 Shibaura, Minato-ku, Tokyo (7-minute walk from JR Tamachi Station East Exit / 10-minute walk from Mita Station Exit A4). Open 11:00–18:00, closed Thursdays, Sundays and holidays (sometimes open on Sundays and holidays).
Bookings close at 18:00 (Japan time) the day before, and cancellations are accepted until then. You can take your work home the same day. Payment: cash, credit cards, transit IC cards, QUICPay, iD, and QR code payments (including Alipay+ and WeChat Pay). Access details

4. Visit and print

Visit us at your reserved time. After reception, your session begins.
If you bring digital artwork, please bring it on a USB drive or similar storage.

Trial Plan

You can make a Risograph test print.
Use it to check the finish or consult about data preparation.
1,500 yen (1 design / 30 min)
* Up to 2 colors on one side. Choose up to 3 paper types in store (A3 or A4).
* Staff will print it for you.

First-Time Plan

For first-time visitors or anyone still getting used to the process,
staff will carefully support the full Risograph workflow.
3,500 yen (60 min)
* Print up to 4 colors on straw paper. Two separate 2-color works are also OK.
* You can change or add other paper as an option.
* You may bring your own paper.
* See our paper list (available in store only, not sold online).

Regular Plan

For returning visitors.
Choose colors and print as much as you like on the paper you want.
This plan is mostly self-service, but first-time regular-plan users receive initial staff support.

* Depending on design and ink density, ink smudging may be noticeable, especially with 3 or more overprinted colors or double-sided printing. Please consult us in advance.
